Satec has designed and manufactured power metering equipment since 1987 and exports to more than 60 countries. Its meters are used by utilities, mines, industrial plants and commercial property owners wherever accurate, reliable electrical measurement matters.

Where can I buy Satec power meters in South Africa?

Which Satec meter should I choose?
For general sub-metering, the PM135 or EM133 is usually enough. For main incomers and power quality, choose the PRO series (PM335). For many circuits in one board, use the BFM-II. For substations and detailed power quality investigations, use the PM175 or PM180. We will specify the right model for each point.
Do Satec meters work with ExpertPower?
Yes. ExpertPower is Satec’s energy management platform and reads Satec meters directly, as well as third-party electricity, water and gas meters.
Can Satec meters be added to existing switchboards?
Yes. Split-core HACS current sensors clip around existing cables and need no shorting blocks, which keeps retrofit installation simple and low-cost. We confirm the details during the site assessment.
